Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting masonry openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls where high load capacity is essential. It ensures safe load transfer above openings in blockwork walls, commonly used in residential and commercial construction. The lintel works best when the blockwork is built tightly against its inner face and a mortar bed is applied atop the blockwork before laying floor units, guaranteeing even load distribution. Temporary propping can be used to speed up construction where necessary.
