The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects. At 3600mm long, this lintel is specifically designed to support cavity walls with a 130-145mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, offering reliable performance where heavy loads are expected. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in heavy-duty cavity wall construction, commonly found in commercial and large residential developments requiring robust load-bearing solutions. It is designed to carry extreme loads safely when properly laterally restrained and supported with at least 200mm end bearing. Typical use includes spanning openings such as doors and windows in masonry cavity walls where structural integrity is critical.
