The Keystone CFS/K-50 WOL lintel at 4350mm length is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for professional builders and contractors working on substantial structural openings. It supports cavity widths between 50 and 65mm and is tailored for use with 125-150mm wide outer leaf blockwork, providing dependable strength where it’s needed most. Please note the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting large openings in cavity walls, such as window and door frames in residential and commercial builds requiring robust load-bearing solutions. It is commonly used where extra heavy duty performance is essential, ensuring long-term reliability and safety on site. For optimal construction speed and safety, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Additionally, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top before installing floor units to ensure even load distribution.
