Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 is a robust extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically engineered for cavity widths between 130mm and 145mm. It provides dependable structural support for openings in load-bearing walls, making it a smart choice for builders, contractors, and site managers working on serious projects. Please note, proper mortar application and propping during installation are essential to ensure performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting large openings such as windows and doors in cavity wall constructions where heavy loads are expected. It is commonly used in residential and commercial buildings requiring enhanced structural integrity. To guarantee even load distribution, a mortar bed should be laid on top of the blockwork before placing floor units, and all perpendicular and horizontal joints must be fully filled with mortar. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to maintain alignment and speed up the build process.
