The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4200mm is designed specifically for builders and site managers tackling demanding structural projects. Its robust construction and galvanised finish ensure long-term durability and reliability in cavity walls ranging from 150 to 165mm, making it a smart choice where heavy loads must be safely supported. Please note, a separate flexible damp-proof course (DPC) must be installed on site during construction.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, commonly found in commercial and high-spec residential developments. Its design caters for extreme loading conditions where heavier structural demands are present, such as wide openings or load-bearing walls requiring substantial support. The lintel must be laterally restrained with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratios, ensuring stability and safety on site.
