Details

The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3500mm is engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding structural projects. Its robust construction and galvanised finish ensure reliable performance in cavity walls with thicknesses of 130-145mm and inner leaves of 110-115mm. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be installed on site during construction as this is not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is suited for supporting heavy loads over openings in cavity wall construction, such as large window or door apertures in residential or commercial builds. Its universal beam section combined with a 6mm structural steel plate provides exceptional strength for projects requiring extreme load capacity. It must be laterally restrained and installed with minimum 200mm end bearings to achieve the specified load ratings. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate for enhanced mortar keying if required.
