Details

The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel in 5200mm length is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects. This lintel offers reliable support where heavy loads are applied to cavity walls with 50-65mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaf masonry. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure optimal performance.

Application

Ideal for use in residential and commercial masonry where extreme loading conditions exist, such as large openings over doors and windows with significant structural weight above. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve rated load capacities. It is commonly installed in cavity walls with inner leaf thicknesses between 110-115mm, providing essential strength and stability on site.
