This lintel ensures reliable load distribution and structural integrity on demanding builds.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting doorways, windows, and other wall openings in cavity walls where the inner leaf is wider than standard. It is commonly used in solid masonry projects requiring an extra heavy duty load capacity to maintain safety and durability. The lintel should be installed with blockwork built tight against its inner face, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to evenly distribute the load. Temporary propping may be used to speed up construction without compromising stability.
