QIC SC03 ceiling trim, 3000mm (1181/8") length, 35 x 53mm profile for perimeter shadowline details.
Made from architectural grade aluminium alloy with durable white (RAL 9010) polyester powder coating.
Designed to support metal, mineral fibre, plasterboard, GRG, or rigidised mineral wool ceiling tiles.
Allows use of standard hold down wedges and clips for secure tile retention.
Note: Supplied in white as standard; alternative finishes and curved trims available on request.

Details

The QIC SC03 ceiling trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for creating neat, professional shadowline perimeter details where metal ceiling tile systems meet walls or partitions. Perfect for contractors and site managers working on suspended ceilings, this trim offers reliable performance and a clean finish. Please note, trims are supplied in white (RAL 9010) as standard; alternative colours and custom curving are available by special order.

Application

This trim is engineered to work seamlessly with cut metal ceiling tiles, as well as mineral fibre, plasterboard, GRG, and rigidised mineral wool panels. It provides a secure channel to hold tiles firmly using standard wedges and clips, ensuring stability on site. The horizontal shadowgap web can be factory slotted for air venting if needed, and trims can be formed into curves or column rings to suit complex designs. Suitable for use in commercial and residential suspended ceiling systems, it improves both aesthetics and sound insulation when combined with silicone mastic and proper wall backing.

Important: Perimeter trims must be backed with wall boarding and should never be fixed directly to structural framing.
