QIC P02 Ceiling Trim in RAL 9010 white, measuring 3000mm (118") length for precise ceiling edging.
Designed for 12.5mm plasterboard ceilings, creating a sharp shadow line where ceilings meet walls or partitions.
Manufactured from architectural grade aluminium alloy with a durable white polyester powder coat finish.
Supports various ceiling tile types including metal, mineral fibre, GRG, plasterboard, and rigid mineral wool.
Note: Trims are supplied in 3000mm lengths; trims are not load bearing beyond ceiling tile support.

Details

The QIC P02 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for professional use in suspended plasterboard ceiling systems. Suited to builders, contractors and site managers, it provides a clean, precise shadow line detail where ceilings meet walls or partitions. Supplied in standard white RAL 9010 powder coat finish and 3000mm lengths, it ensures a consistent, high-quality edge that enhances the overall ceiling finish. Please note, trims are not intended to carry loads beyond the ceiling infill.

Application

This trim is specifically engineered for use with 12.5mm plasterboard ceilings, delivering a neat shadow line detail that improves the visual transition between ceiling and wall surfaces. It is compatible with a wide range of suspended ceiling tile infills including metal, mineral fibre, glass reinforced gypsum (GRG), plasterboard and rigid mineral wool. The profile’s design allows for factory slotted webs to function as air vents if needed. For best results, perimeter trims should be installed backed by wall boarding and never fixed directly to structural framing. Additional silicone mastic can be applied for enhanced sound insulation and finish.
