Details

The Keystone XHD/K-90 WOL is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, engineered for builders and contractors working on projects with cavity widths between 90 and 105mm. Its robust design supports wide outer leaf blockwork from 125 to 150mm thick, making it an excellent choice for demanding structural openings. Please note, lintel lengths are supplied in 150mm increments to suit site needs.

Application

This lintel is ideal for carrying heavy loads across openings in cavity walls with a wide outer leaf, commonly found in commercial and residential developments requiring enhanced structural support. It is intended for use where blockwork is constructed tightly against the inner face of the lintel, ensuring a secure fit and efficient transfer of load. To achieve optimal load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed atop the blockwork before floor units or other structural elements are installed. Temporary propping of the lintel is recommended during construction to maintain alignment and speed up build times.
