The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3150mm is a specialist structural support designed for demanding construction projects requiring heavy load capacity. This lintel is an excellent choice for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls featuring 50-65mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction, as it is not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is tailored for use in cavity wall construction where extreme loading conditions apply. It provides robust support over openings such as doors and windows in both residential and commercial builds. The lintel’s design ensures it can handle substantial loads, making it suitable for structural walls where additional strength and durability are critical. It must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing for optimal performance.
