The Keystone XHD/K-90 WOL 1650mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for openings in walls with cavity widths of 90 to 105mm. Designed specifically for use with 125 to 150mm thick outer leaf blockwork, it offers robust structural support for demanding building projects. This lintel is ideal for builders, site managers, and contractors who require dependable performance on serious cavity wall installations. Please note that lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments to suit your project needs.

Application

This lintel is used to span openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls where the outer leaf is wider than standard. It supports the load above the opening while accommodating cavity widths from 90mm to 105mm, making it suitable for thicker blockwork outer leaves. The lintel should be installed with blockwork built tight against its inner face, and a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping of the lintel during construction is recommended to speed up the building process safely.
