Application

This lintel is specifically intended for use in cavity wall construction where blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel. It is ideal for supporting significant loads over openings in residential and commercial buildings. To ensure even load distribution, place a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units. Temporary propping of the lintel is recommended during installation to speed up construction safely.
