The Keystone XHD/K-70 WIL 1950mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on substantial openings within wide inner leaf blockwork walls. Its robust design ensures dependable support where cavity widths range from 70 to 85mm, making it a solid choice for demanding structural applications. Please note that all dimensions are manufactured in 150mm increments and should be selected accordingly.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to carry heavy loads over openings in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, typically 125-150mm thick blockwork. It is ideal for use above windows and doors on projects requiring reinforced structural support. Builders should lay a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before placing floor units to ensure an even load distribution. While lintels can be propped during construction to speed up the build process, proper support must be maintained until the structure is stable.
