Details

The Catnic Timber Frame Lintel CTF7 1050mm is engineered for specialist timber frame and cavity wall applications. Supplied with three restraint clips, it supports vertical movement within timber structures while maintaining structural integrity. Its corrosion-resistant finish ensures reliability on serious building projects. Please note, accessories like cavity weep vents and stop ends are not included.

Application

Ideal for use in timber frame construction, this lintel provides stable support over openings such as doors and windows. The sloping outer face aids effective load transfer to the masonry outer leaf, typically 100–105mm thick. The inclusion of restraint clips allows the timber frame to move vertically without compromising the lintel’s performance, making it suitable for studwork and sheathing interfaces.
