The Keystone XHD/K-50 WIL 900mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel specifically designed to support openings in wide inner leaf blockwork. Trusted by builders and site managers, this lintel is engineered to handle demanding structural loads in cavity walls with 50-65mm wide cavities. Please note that lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments, and all descriptions should be confirmed with our sales office for project-specific guidance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where the inner leaf is 125-150mm thick. It provides reliable support over openings such as doors and windows, ensuring load is properly transferred to the masonry below. Builders typically bed a mortar layer on top of the blockwork before installing floor units to achieve even load distribution. The lintel can also be temporarily propped during installation to maintain construction speed and safety.
