The Keystone XHD/K-50 WIL 600mm lintel is an extra heavy duty support designed specifically for cavity walls featuring a wide inner leaf. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on robust structural openings, it provides reliable load-bearing capacity where stronger support is essential. Please note, lintels are supplied in 150mm length increments, and images are for illustration purposes only.

Application

This lintel is suited to cavity wall constructions with inner leaf blockwork widths of 125-150mm (5" to 6"), accommodating cavity widths between 50mm and 65mm (2" to 2½"). It is commonly used to span window and door openings where additional strength is required to safely carry heavy loads above. To ensure optimal performance, a mortar bed should be laid atop the blockwork before placing floor units, providing even load distribution. Propping lintels during construction is recommended to maintain build speed and structural integrity.
