Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 1800mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors needing dependable support over wide openings. Its robust design suits cavity walls with widths from 50mm to 65mm, making it an excellent choice for serious structural projects requiring high load capacity. Please note, this lintel is supplied in manufactured lengths with 150mm increments.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting masonry above large doorways, windows, or other openings in cavity walls where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is essential. It allows blockwork to be built tightly against its inner face, providing a solid and stable structure. For optimal load distribution, a mortar bed should be laid on top of the blockwork before placing floor units. Temporary props can be used to speed up construction safely.
