Details

The Keystone XHD/K-150 is a 1200mm long extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders, contractors, and site managers needing robust support for structural openings. Its strength and reliability make it an excellent choice for cavity walls with widths between 150-165mm. Please note, blockwork must be built tight to the inner face of the lintel to ensure correct load bearing.

Application

This lintel is specifically engineered for use in cavity wall construction where heavy loads must be safely supported above openings such as doors and windows. It is ideal for serious building projects requiring durable structural materials. To achieve even load distribution, a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units. Temporary propping of the lintel during installation can speed up construction without compromising safety.
