The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL 3600mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty applications in cavity walls with wide inner leaf dimensions. Specifically designed for trade professionals requiring reliable support over openings in blockwork where cavity widths range from 150 to 165mm, this lintel offers robust structural integrity for serious building projects. Please note, the inner leaf block should not exceed 150mm in width and must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure correct installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall constructions where a wider inner leaf is present, typically between 125mm and 150mm blockwork thickness. It provides extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity, suitable for supporting lintels over large openings such as windows and doors in both residential and commercial projects. To maintain structural performance and speed up onsite construction, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation. Ensuring blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel and placing a mortar bed on top before laying floor units will help distribute loads evenly.
