Details

The Keystone XHD/K-130 600mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding structural openings. Its robust design ensures reliable support for cavity walls with widths from 110 to 125mm, making it a dependable choice for serious projects requiring high load capacity. Please note the lintel is supplied in 150mm increments and blockwork must be built tight against the inner face for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where openings such as doors and windows require strong, durable support. It is designed to carry extra heavy loads, making it suitable for multi-storey builds and commercial developments where structural integrity is paramount. To ensure even load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units. Temporary propping of the lintel during construction is recommended to speed up the build process safely.
