Details

The Keystone XHD/K-130 1650mm lintel is engineered for tradespeople and site managers requiring a dependable solution for heavy load-bearing cavity wall openings. Its extra heavy duty rating makes it ideal for substantial lintel applications where structural integrity cannot be compromised. Please note, the lintel is designed for cavity widths between 110 and 125mm and is supplied in precise 150mm length increments.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for cavity wall construction, providing robust support over openings such as windows and doors with cavity widths of 110-125mm. Blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel to ensure proper load distribution. A mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units will help evenly transfer the load. On-site propping of lintels is recommended to speed up construction while maintaining safety and alignment.
