Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL lintel, 1200mm (47¼") length for wide outer leaf cavity walls.
Designed for extra heavy duty load-bearing applications with cavity widths of 90-105mm (3½"-4").
Suitable for 125-150mm (5"-6") wide outer leaf blockwork with a maximum 25mm (1") flange overhang.
Supports structural openings reliably in demanding builds, recommended to be propped during construction.
Ensure mortar bed is applied on top of blockwork before laying floor units for even load distribution.

Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL 1200mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support for openings in wide outer leaf cavity walls. It is specifically designed to accommodate cavity widths between 90 and 105mm and outer leaf blockwork widths from 125 to 150mm. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork should not exceed a 25mm overhang on the lintel flange to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting door and window openings in cavity walls where wide outer leaf blocks are used, such as robust residential or commercial builds. Its extra heavy duty load capacity ensures it can reliably bear substantial structural loads. On-site, it’s advisable to prop the lintel during construction to speed up the build process and secure stability. The blockwork must be built tight against the outer face of the lintel, with a mortar bed laid on top before floor units are installed to ensure even load distribution across the lintel.
