Details

The Keystone HD/K-70 Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 4200mm in length, is engineered for trade professionals requiring reliable support over wider openings in cavity walls. Specifically designed for cavities between 70 and 85mm, this lintel offers the strength and durability essential for structural building projects. Please note, lintel propping is recommended to ensure safe and efficient installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls where heavy duty load-bearing capacity is needed, such as above large window or door openings. It supports blockwork that is constructed tightly against its inner face, ensuring stability and longevity in both residential and commercial builds. The lintel should be bedded on a mortar layer atop the blockwork before floor units are installed, to guarantee even load distribution across the structure. Propping during installation is advised to maintain alignment and speed up build times.
