Extra heavy duty load capacity, perfect for supporting wide inner leaf blockwork between 125-150mm thick.
Constructed to ensure inner leaf block does not overhang lintel flange by more than 25mm, maintaining structural integrity.
Recommended to prop lintels during installation for safer and faster construction progress.
Blockwork must be built tight against the inner face of the lintel; mortar bed required on top before laying floor units for load distribution.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings such as doors and windows in cavity wall constructions where a wide inner leaf is present. It is suitable for use on serious building sites requiring extra heavy duty load capacity. To maintain safety and speed up installation, it is recommended that lintels are propped during setting. The inner leaf blockwork must be built tightly against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed placed on top before floor units are laid to ensure even load distribution.
