The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WIL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 2700mm in length, is engineered for demanding structural support in cavity walls with a 70 to 85mm cavity width. Specifically suited for inner leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm thick, this lintel offers the strength and reliability contractors and site managers require for critical openings such as doors and windows. Please note, lintels are supplied without bricks and must be propped during installation to ensure safe and effective load transfer.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where an extra heavy duty load-bearing solution is necessary. It supports wide inner leaf blockwork and is frequently used to span structural openings in residential and commercial buildings. Proper installation involves placing the blockwork tight against the lintel’s inner face and applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, ensuring even distribution of load and long-term stability.
