Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WOL 3450mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support wide openings where the cavity ranges between 50 and 65mm. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with 125-150mm wide outer leaf blockwork, it provides dependable structural support for serious projects requiring robust load-bearing solutions. Please note, outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is designed for cavity wall construction with a wide outer leaf, typically used to span large openings such as doorways or wide window apertures in residential and commercial builds. Its extra heavy duty capacity makes it particularly suitable for projects demanding high load resistance and durability. Correct installation practice includes propping the lintel during construction to facilitate faster build times and ensure even load distribution. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to further stabilise the structure.
