The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WIL is a robust extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, engineered specifically for wide inner leaf blockwork applications. Measuring 2700mm in length, it provides dependable structural support for openings where cavity widths range between 50-65mm. This lintel is an excellent choice for builders and site managers tackling demanding projects requiring reliable load-bearing performance. Please note that inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

Ideal for use in cavity walls with a wider inner leaf of 125-150mm blockwork, this lintel supports structural openings such as windows and doors. It is designed to carry heavy loads safely, making it suitable for commercial and residential developments where extra heavy duty performance is essential. For optimal results, propping the lintel during installation is advised to speed up construction and ensure stability. The blockwork must be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, and a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blocks before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution.
