The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4250mm length is engineered for demanding building projects where heavy structural loads are expected. This specialist lintel suits builders, contractors, and site managers working with 50-65mm cavity walls and 110-115mm inner leafs, providing reliable support and longevity on site. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) is required during installation to ensure moisture protection.

Application

Ideal for use in cavity wall construction where extreme loads must be supported safely, this lintel is perfect for heavy-duty residential or commercial developments. It is designed to be laterally restrained and requires a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to ensure maximum structural integrity. The lintel can also be supplied with an optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate, enhancing the bonding of render or masonry finishes where specified.
