Details

The Keystone S/K-130 Standard Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 3750mm length is engineered for builders and contractors needing dependable support for cavity wall openings. It suits cavity widths from 130 to 145mm, commonly found in residential and commercial masonry projects. Please note, lintels should be propped during installation for safe and efficient construction.

Application

This lintel is designed to span openings such as windows and doors within cavity walls, providing structural integrity by evenly distributing loads above the opening. It works best where blockwork is built up tight against its inner face. Prior to laying floor units, a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork to ensure load is spread evenly and avoid stress points. Its standard duty rating makes it suitable for typical domestic and light commercial construction.
