Application

This box lintel is designed to support heavy loads such as concrete floors and point loads above openings in solid walls. Its perforated construction allows plaster to key in securely, ensuring a reliable finish. To ensure structural integrity, the lintel must be bedded on mortar with a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side of the opening. Propping is recommended to speed up construction and guarantee stability during installation.
