Application

This lintel is purpose-built for cavity wall constructions with cavity widths between 70 and 85mm. It supports inner leaf blockwork ranging from 125 to 150mm in thickness, making it suitable for heavy duty projects such as residential or commercial structural openings. Best practice includes propping the lintel during installation to ensure stability and speed up the build process. The inner leaf blockwork should be built tight against the lintel, with no more than 25mm overhang on the flange, and a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
