Compatible with Wedgelock cleats for secure joints, corners and abutment details.

Details

The QIC T01 Ceiling Trim in RAL 9010 white is a specialist aluminium trim designed for professional suspended ceiling installations. Suitable for builders, contractors, and site managers working with metal, mineral fibre, GRG or plasterboard ceiling tiles, this trim ensures reliable structural support and a clean finish. Please note all trims are supplied in white RAL 9010 as standard; alternative finishes can be arranged by contacting us.

Application

These Type T trims form the structural framework for square, rectangular or linear suspended ceiling grids. They are ideal for both commercial and residential projects requiring metal, mineral fibre, GRG or plasterboard tiles. Used alongside Wedgelock cleats and stainless steel fixings, they can be safely installed in non-magnetic environments. The trims are also adaptable to curved or barrel vaulted ceilings through factory curving, allowing flexible design options on complex ceiling layouts.

Extruded from architectural grade aluminium alloy to BS 1474
Finished in white polyester powder coating (RAL 9010, 20% gloss) or chromate etch primer for on-site overpainting

Type

Ceiling trim for suspended ceiling systems

All trims include a substantial safety factor and are engineered to reliably carry the weight of their specified ceiling tiles. For straight joints, corners and abutment detailing, Wedgelock cleats are recommended (available separately). Non-standard lengths, factory curving and alternative finishes can be supplied to order.
