The Keystone HD/K-70 Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 4000mm in length, is engineered to provide strong, reliable support for cavity walls with widths from 70 to 85mm. Designed specifically for builders, contractors and site managers working on substantial structural openings, this lintel offers the durability and technical performance required on demanding projects. Please note lintels must be propped during installation to ensure safe and proper load distribution.

Application

This heavy duty steel lintel is intended for cavity wall construction where openings such as doors or windows require a load-bearing support. It accommodates cavity widths between 70-85mm, making it suitable for common blockwork thicknesses. The lintel supports blockwork set tight against its inner face, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are installed to evenly spread the load. It is ideal for use on new builds and structural renovations where strength and reliability are critical.
