Details

The Keystone HD/K-150 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically engineered for builders and contractors working with cavity widths of 150 to 165mm. It’s an excellent choice for supporting openings where a strong, dependable lintel is essential. Please note, inner leaf blockwork thickness should be 125-150mm and must not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange. This product is supplied as shown; images are for illustration only.

Application

This lintel is designed to support load-bearing openings such as windows and doorways in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf. It’s ideal for use in residential and commercial construction projects where heavy duty strength is required to carry structural loads safely. Builders should prop the lintel during installation to ensure correct positioning and to speed up the overall build process. Applying a mortar bed on top of the inner leaf blockwork before laying floor units helps to distribute loads evenly across the lintel.
