The Keystone HD/K-150 WIL is a robust heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically engineered to support openings in cavity walls with a 150-165mm gap. It is an excellent choice for builders and contractors working with wider inner leaf blockwork, providing dependable structural support on demanding projects. Please note, the inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls where the inner leaf measures between 125-150mm wide, commonly found in structural builds requiring heavy load capacity. It supports doorways, window openings, and other structural gaps, distributing weight evenly to maintain wall integrity. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to facilitate faster construction and ensure the lintel remains secure while the structure cures. Mortar should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to achieve even load distribution.
