The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL 4000mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically engineered for wide outer leaf cavity walls with 70-85mm cavity widths. Ideal for builders, contractors and site managers requiring dependable structural support for large openings, this lintel supports 125-150mm thick outer leaf blockwork with precision and strength. Please note that outer leaf blocks must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity wall constructions where wide outer leaf blockwork requires robust support above openings such as windows and doors. It is engineered to carry extra heavy loads, making it suitable for demanding structural projects including commercial and residential developments. To promote efficient build times and safe installation, propping of lintels during construction is strongly advised. Additionally, ensure blockwork is tightly built against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed is laid on top of the blockwork before floor units are installed to evenly distribute load.
