The Keystone CFS/K-70 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically engineered for use in wide inner leaf cavity walls. Measuring 1950mm in length, it is the go-to choice for builders and site managers working with 70-85mm cavity widths and 125-150mm inner leaf blockwork. This lintel offers robust structural support for openings, ensuring reliability on serious building projects. Please note that the inner leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain correct installation.

Application

This lintel is designed to support brickwork or blockwork above openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls where the inner leaf is wider than standard. Its extra heavy duty capacity makes it suitable for commercial and residential developments where high structural loads are expected. To ensure a safe and efficient build, it is recommended that lintels are adequately propped during construction. Additionally, mortar should be bedded on top of the inner leaf blockwork before floor units are laid to evenly distribute loads.
