Details

The Catnic CXL265 is an extreme load cavity wall lintel designed specifically for contractors and builders working on high-load structural projects. Measuring 2750mm in length, this lintel supports cavity widths from 70 to 85mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110 to 115mm, making it a dependable choice for robust masonry openings. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is engineered for use in heavy-duty cavity wall constructions where substantial load-bearing capacity is essential. It is typically installed over large window and door openings in residential and commercial buildings requiring extreme load support. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings. It is also suitable for developments where inner-to-outer leaf load ratios range between 5:1 and 19:1.
