The Keystone CFS/K-50 WOL 600mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty cavity wall applications, specifically designed for wide outer leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm. It’s an ideal choice for builders and site managers requiring reliable structural support over openings in cavity walls with widths from 50 to 65mm. Please note that lintels must be propped during installation to ensure safe and efficient build progress.

Application

This lintel supports heavy loads above window and door openings in cavity walls, particularly where the outer leaf blockwork is thicker at 125-150mm. It’s well suited to new builds and structural refurbishments where durability and load capacity are critical. Proper installation includes placing blockwork tight against the lintel’s inner face and applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, which helps evenly distribute the load.
