Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity wall builds featuring a wide outer leaf of 125-150mm blockwork, commonly found in residential and commercial developments requiring enhanced load-bearing capacity. It is essential that the outer leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to ensure safe handling and accelerate the build process. Additionally, blockwork should be tightly built against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed applied on top before floor units are laid to evenly distribute load.
