The Catnic External Solid Wall Lintel CN71A 1950mm is engineered specifically for builders and contractors working on robust external solid wall constructions between 200mm and 215mm thick. Manufactured from galvanised steel and finished with a powder coat, this lintel offers superior corrosion resistance through its duplex protection system, making it a reliable choice for demanding structural projects. Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting masonry above openings in external solid walls, such as windows and doors, where strength and durability are essential. It is commonly specified for residential and commercial builds requiring a safe working load of up to 27kN over a 1950mm span with 150mm end bearings. For walls thicker than 250mm, an open back lintel is recommended—please contact Catnic Technical Services for advice. Additionally, the CN71 lintel range can also serve as heavy-duty wall eaves lintels in cavity wall configurations from 70mm to 100mm.
