Application

This lintel is designed to support openings in cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork is between 125 and 150mm wide. It is particularly suited for use in residential or commercial developments requiring a strong, extra heavy duty lintel to bear substantial loads. Installation best practices include propping the lintel to maintain build speed and ensure even load distribution. The inner leaf blockwork must be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, with a maximum 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange to maintain structural performance. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the weight.
