The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL lintel is an extra heavy duty steel lintel specifically engineered for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. Measuring 3000mm in length, it is tailored for builders and site managers working on structural openings requiring robust support in cavity widths of 150 to 165mm. This lintel offers reliable strength and durability, making it a smart choice for serious projects where safety and load capacity are critical. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity wall construction with wide outer leaf blockwork typically measuring between 125 and 150mm. It supports lintelled openings such as windows and doors where an extra heavy duty load capacity is required. For best results, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before installing floor units. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to speed up construction and ensure even load distribution.
