Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WIL 1350mm lintel is engineered as an extra heavy duty solution for cavity wall construction where a wide inner leaf is specified. Ideal for builders and site managers working on substantial structural openings, this lintel supports cavity widths from 50 to 65mm and inner leaf blockwork thickness between 125 and 150mm. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure optimal load distribution.

Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity wall builds requiring robust support over doorways, windows, and other structural openings. Its extra heavy duty design makes it suitable for projects demanding high load capacity, such as commercial builds or larger residential developments. To maintain construction efficiency and structural integrity, it is recommended that lintels be propped during installation. Mortar beds should be placed atop the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads. Blockwork must be constructed tightly against the inner face of the lintel for best performance.
