Details

The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL 3450mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for reliable support of wide inner leaf blockwork in structural projects. Suited to builders and site managers working on robust cavity walls with openings requiring substantial load-bearing capacity. Please note the inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load distribution.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to span wide cavity walls with inner leaf block thickness between 125mm and 150mm, accommodating cavity widths of 150-165mm. It’s ideal for supporting lintel openings such as doorways and large window apertures in residential or commercial masonry construction. For best practice, lintels should be propped during installation to maintain structural integrity and speed up build time. Mortar beds should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
