Details

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications requiring robust support. Ideal for builders, contractors and site managers working on substantial cavity wall openings, this lintel offers reliable strength and longevity thanks to its high-quality steel and galvanised finish. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) is required during installation.

Application

This lintel is designed specifically for cavity walls with a 110-125mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is suited to projects where heavy loads must be supported over openings such as large windows, doors, or structural walls. The lintel must be installed with 200mm end bearing supports and be laterally restrained to meet the specified load capacities. It is also available with an optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for additional stability.
