The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on wide inner leaf blockwork. Measuring 1200mm in length, this lintel provides robust structural support for openings where the cavity width ranges between 150mm and 165mm. It’s a reliable choice when strength and durability are essential on site. Please note, the inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf of 125-150mm blockwork thickness. It supports heavy loads over openings such as doors and windows, ensuring stability in demanding construction projects. For best results, blockwork should be built tightly against the lintel’s inner face. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to speed up construction and guarantee safety. Additionally, applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps to distribute the load evenly across the lintel.
