Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with wide inner leaves (125-150mm blockwork thickness), providing reliable load-bearing capacity for large openings such as windows and doors. It is essential to ensure the inner leaf blockwork is built tightly against the lintel face and that overhang beyond the lintel flange does not exceed 25mm to maintain structural integrity. For optimal installation, propping the lintel is advised to speed up construction safely. Applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps distribute loads evenly.
